Drone Photography

Certified through Transport Canada, we can operate a drone in designated areas. With the drone we cover large geographic areas effectively and efficiently to provide high-definition images. This allows us to view and capture the whole scene and analyze the extent of the damage and fire patterns. Drone inspection is a powerful and practical tool in many claims scenarios, especially in the hands of an experienced forensic investigator. They are able to access hazardous and confined spaces, cover large geographic areas, provide real-time data and document scenes in incredible detail. Drone inspection can play an important role in determining the origin, documenting damage for insurance purposes or assessing the scope of a disaster.

Types

  • Structural inspections

  • Fire and explosion scenes

  • Large loss investigations

The Benefits

Enhanced safety: Drones can capture images and data from hard-to-reach or dangerous areas, such as roofs or upper floors of a building. This can help ensure the safety of the investigators and reduce the risk of injury or further damage to the site.

Detailed documentation: Drones can capture high-resolution images and video footage of the fire scene, which can be used to create detailed documentation of the damage caused by the fire. This documentation can be used by insurance providers to assess the extent of the damage and to determine the validity of any claims related to the fire.

Comprehensive view: Drones provide a comprehensive view of the fire scene that is often not possible with traditional investigation methods. Equipped with high-resolution cameras drones can capture detailed images and data from all angles of the scene, providing a comprehensive view of the damage caused by the fire
